The business center of the Helga complex is being certified under the international BREEAM system.
BREEAM is the world’s leading set of validation and certification systems for the sustainable built environment, developed in the United Kingdom by the Building Research Establishment (BRE). Certification under this standard is carried out in 83 countries worldwide. Several national standards have been developed, including those for the United Kingdom, the United States, and Germany, alongside an international standard.
BREEAM is most widely used in the European Union, where this “green” building certification is particularly favored in Spain, Sweden, the Netherlands, France, and Belgium. For example, among the nominees in various categories of the latest BREEAM Awards shortlist are Centro Comercial Islazul in Spain, M1 Łódź in Poland, So Ouest in France, the School of Engineering (University of Birmingham) in the UK, and the Skinnarilan Campus RV1+RV5 in Finland.
In Ukraine, only a few projects have so far undergone this certification.
